Terms

What you agree to when you order from us, in plain language.

Last updated 18 August 2026

These terms apply to everything bought from Mori Electronics. Placing an order means you accept them.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy, not yet a contract. The contract forms when we confirm the order — for M-Pesa and card that is when payment clears; for a WhatsApp order it is when we confirm it to you.

We may decline an order. The reasons are always one of: the item is out of stock, the price was wrong, we cannot deliver to where you are, or we believe the order is fraudulent. If we decline after you have paid, you are refunded in full.

Prices and stock

  • Prices are in Kenyan shillings and inclusive of any applicable taxes.
  • Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay. See delivery.
  • Stock shown is our best information. If something sells out between your order and our confirmation, we will tell you and refund rather than substitute something else without asking.
  • Where a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place — we are not obliged to honour it. We will tell you and cancel, not quietly charge you the higher figure.

Paying

M-Pesa, card, or by arrangement over WhatsApp. Nothing is charged without your action: you approve the M-Pesa prompt on your own phone, or complete the card payment on our processor’s page. An unpaid order is not fulfilled, and expires by itself.

Delivery and risk

We deliver across Kenya and ship worldwide. Estimated times are estimates, not guarantees — couriers are not entirely within our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

For orders outside Kenya, any import duties or taxes at the destination are yours to pay. Ask us first and we will tell you what we know.

Returns and faults

Seven days to change your mind, subject to the conditions on the returns page. Faulty goods are handled under warranty and are not limited to seven days. Nothing here removes any right you have under Kenyan consumer law.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. We may suspend an account being used fraudulently.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for supplying goods as described, and for losses we cause directly. We are not responsible for indirect losses — lost profit, lost data, lost time — arising from a product fault or a late delivery. Back up your data before sending any device to us or to a service centre.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Descriptions and images

We describe products as accurately as we can, using manufacturer specifications. Photographs are illustrative; colours vary between screens. Where an item is open-box or refurbished, the listing says so.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top tells you which that was.

Law

These terms are governed by Kenyan law, and disputes fall to the Kenyan courts. We would far rather sort a problem out directly — see contact.
